Job Title: Document Controller / Project Coordinator
Location: Site-Based (Croydon), Head Office (Liverpool Street)
Project: Hotel Refurbishment & Fit-Out (£20M, 2-Year Programme)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Document Controller / Project Coordinator to join our site-based project team on a major £20M hotel refurbishment and fit-out in Croydon. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the project team while managing project documentation, ensuring compliance, and helping to keep the site running smoothly. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for someone eager to take on more responsibility over time with career progression available well beyond traditional admin or support roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accurate version control and distribution
* Support the project team with day-to-day administration duties
* Set up and maintain filing systems (digital and hard copy)
* Assist in coordinating site activities, meetings, and reporting
* Prepare and update project trackers, registers, and logs
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely submission of documents
* Support project managers with document reviews, quality checks, and project reporting
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and client document control standards
About You

* Experience in document control, project coordination, or site administration (construction experience ideal)
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with document control platforms
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
