Salary: £35,412 – £38,220
Working arrangements: Standard office hours Monday to Thursday 09:00‑17:00, Friday 09:00‑16:30. Standby rota covering out‑of‑hours 18:00‑06:00 all weekend and bank holidays on rotation.

Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive, customer‑focussed housing options service to prevent homelessness and meet statutory duties.
* Manage a varied caseload and work across partners to find innovative ways to prevent homelessness.
* Assess customers in line with relevant legislation and support people to resolve housing issues.
* Engage customers face‑to‑face and over the phone, and conduct enquiries with landlords, families and professionals.
* Focus on preventing homelessness, partnership working and delivering high‑quality customer service.
* Carry a varied caseload and may be expected to cover duty.
Qualifications
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Working knowledge of homelessness and related legislation.
* Excellent team player able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Experience of casework and advocacy.
* Level 4 qualification or relevant experience (essential).
Additional Information
All applicants must speak English to an appropriate standard, be available outside normal hours as part of a standby rota, and have a Basic Criminal Record Check.
Prospective employees must provide a reasonable account of any significant periods (6 months or more in the past 3 years) living abroad.
