Bank SSD Assistant Sterile Services Department Private Hospital Bank 0 hours contract Flexible shifts Slough Spire Thames Valley have an exciting opportunity for a Sterile Services Assistant to join our Staffing Bank. This role will support our Sterile Services Department on a flexible working basis, which will suit a candidate looking for the work/life balance. Spire Thames Valley is a state-of-the-art private hospital. We offer fast access to consultations with specialists in a wide range of treatments, supported by advanced imaging and diagnostic technology. Duties and responsibilities: To provide the multidisciplinary perioperative team with an exemplary sterile supplies service within the operating theatre suite by assisting in the reprocessing and distribution of medical and surgical reusable devices for use in patient care. This role involves manual handling, exposure to blood and bodily fluids, and working with chemicals and machinery. There is no involvement with patients. This is a physical role involving some heavy lifting of equipment.
