We are looking for a reliable and kind-hearted Male Support Worker to join our friendly team in Muscliff, supporting Joe, a young man who lives independently in his own home. Please note: A Genuine Occupational Requirement applies under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. This role is therefore only open to male candidates, referring to the sex legally assigned at birth. To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. About the Role Joe is in his late twenties and lives in Muscliff. He relies on PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), hand signs and gestures, which helps him connect with staff in his own way. Joe enjoys a range of activities, such as: * Enjoying a day out at the local farm where he can meet the animals. * Going to the park to reach new heights on the swings. * Travelling on the chain ferry across to Swanage for the day. * On quieter days, Joe challenges himself to tackle new puzzles and completes them in record time! As a valued member of our team, your role will involve a mix of meaningful support - from helping with daily routines like food preparation, shopping, and personal care, to accompanying residents as they access the community and pursue their interests.
