A leading Channel Islands law firm is looking to appoint lawyers to join its growing Private Client practice. The firm is open to candidates from 1 PQE through to Senior Associate level and is keen to speak with lawyers who are looking to build a long-term career in an international private wealth environment. Current/previous offshore law firm experience is very welcome but is not needed for strong applicants.
The role involves advising a broad range of private clients and institutional parties on trust and private wealth matters with an international dimension. The work spans both advisory and transactional elements of private wealth practice and includes involvement in the establishment, ongoing administration and restructuring of wealth-holding structures, as well as advice on succession and governance issues. Matters are often cross-border in nature and require collaboration with advisers and intermediaries in multiple jurisdictions.
Lawyers joining the team will work on intellectually engaging matters, with a strong emphasis on technical development and good client responsibility. The firm offers a very progressive, supportive and collegiate working environment, with clear pathways for progression based on merit and performance.
You will be a qualified private client lawyer with good experience in trusts work. We are seeking lawyers from 1 PQE upwards up to and including Senior Associate level. You should have a stable career history which includes good experience within a highly-rated London or top-tier national/regional UK private client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for private wealth lawyers seeking high-quality work, exposure to an international client base and the lifestyle and career advantages associated with practising in the Channel Islands. A competitive remuneration package and relocation assistance are available.
