Due to continued expansion our leading manufacturing client require a Payroll Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Office Manager duties will include:Key Responsibilities:
* Operating Sage payroll for 650 employees to include 17 in ROI payroll
* Using North Time & Data clock in system for collation of hours
* Calculate allowances and bonuses. Processing salary sacrifice scheme
* Reporting on payroll expenses, compensation, benefits, insurance deductions and taxes
* Entering the data of new employees into the company’s databases (e.g. tax identification numbers and bank accounts)
* Ensuring tax withholdings and wages are in compliance with regulations
* Distributing payment statements to employees
* Scheduling bank payments
Person Specification:
* A minimum of one year’s experience as a Payroll Clerk, Payroll Officer or a similar role
* Experience with accounting software and MS Office, especially MS Excel
* Ability to work with confidential information
* Experience with payroll software (e.g. Sage or Brightpay)
* Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
* An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
Working Hours:
* Mon-Thurs 8.30-5.00pm and on Friday
