The Hours The core working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, flexibility is essential as there may be occasions when meetings or other responsibilities require availability outside of these standard hours. This could include early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the needs of the service users. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to adjust their schedule to ensure all commitments and deadlines are met effectively, notice will be provided for any hours required outside of the core hours. The Role Champion and lead meaningful activities with positive outcomes within Day Services, ensuring they meet individuals' learning and development needs. Develop and implement person-centered support plans aligned with individual budgets, promoting independence and self-support networks within the community. Establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, circles of support, and external agencies. Occasionally provide activities for children in our Chipmunks program during school holidays, serving as a positive role model. Create and manage engaging educational and recreational content for our online platform, supporting individuals' learning journeys. Assist individuals in participating in community work and leisure activities, following their support plans. Build and maintain community relationships. Plan and organise seasonal events and activities, including Sports Day, Eid, Easter, and other cultural celebrations. Attend to physical and emotional needs, administer medication, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Work alongside personal assistants as and when required.
