Teaching Personnel are helping one of the largest Special Educational Needs schools in Wales source a Psychology Graduate to join their team of passionate educators. This particular provision caters for pupils from ages 3 to 19 with a range of additional needs which include, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and complex needs. The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 till 15:30 on a full-time basis.
Your role within the school:
Provided 1:1 and group support for pupils with additional learning needs (ALN).
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
Support the class teacher develop learning plans based on students’ individual needs and abilities.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
This role may include personal care.

Have an enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
Have completed safeguarding training or be willing to complete.
Provide 2 recent references.
Have a background in psychology.
Be able to commute or relocate to Penarth.
Be driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
