About Us

Garden Trends is a fast‑growing, multi‑channel retailer specialising in premium outdoor living products, including garden furniture, BBQs, outdoor kitchens, pergolas and leisure accessories. We operate through a strong and expanding ecommerce presence, alongside our flagship retail store.

We are an ambitious and forward‑thinking business that values collaboration, accountability and innovation. As we continue to scale, we are looking to strengthen our marketing function with the addition of a creative, commercially minded social media & content professional.

The Role

Garden Trends is looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media & Content Manager to take ownership of our organic social presence and help elevate how the brand shows up online.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands how to turn products, offers, launches, customer stories and seasonal trends into content that builds brand visibility, engagement and sales. You will manage the day‑to‑day planning, creation and publishing of content across our key social channels, while also helping shape the wider content calendar and identifying new opportunities for growth.

We are looking for someone who is confident across platforms, understands ecommerce, keeps up with trends, and knows how to create content that feels current without losing sight of commercial goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a growing brand’s social presence at an exciting stage, while working closely with internal teams to support wider marketing and ecommerce priorities.

* Manage community engagement across channels, including comments, messages and customer interaction where appropriate
* Support influencer and user‑generated content activity alongside the wider marketing team

Performance & Reporting

* Track performance across channels and produce regular reporting on reach, engagement, traffic and content effectiveness

* Good eye for design, tone and visual consistency
* Comfortable planning, filming and editing short‑form video content
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Able to spot trends but apply them in a way that makes sense for the brand

Desirable

* Experience in home, garden, interiors, lifestyle or retail ecommerce
* Experience supporting paid social campaigns or working alongside paid media
