The Shore Group have been appointed on behalf a Design & Build Main Contractor who are seeking to recruit a Business Development Director / Networker to join their Southern Team.
As Business Development Director you will be responsible for acquiring office fit out projects from End-Users, Agents, and Project Management Consultancies. As well as your day job, you take a lead role supporting the business to develop group sales strategies and client development focus.
This position would suit those currently working for a D&B business in a networking capacity who prefer to focus on their own development, rather than leading a team of staff.
Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally match the following:
* Working for a D&B business with a focus on office projects (CAT A / CAT B or both). Those working for a reputable Furniture Dealer will also be considered
* Experience of attending client pitches with C-Suite clients
* Client base of End-Users, Agents or Project Management Consultancies
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop both existing and new business relationships with C-Suite clients
* Responsible for personal KPI’s, reporting and yearly business plans
* Deliver targeted pitches focusing
* Attend industry networking events, conferences and run company seminars to capture key audience members and influences
* Develop and implement win work strategies
* Manage pipeline portfolio to ensure leads are monitored consistency
