As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to: Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support to meet specific learning goals. Assist students with sensory regulation, communication tools, and emotional wellbeing. Manage classroom behavior using a calm, patient, and positive reinforcement-based approach. Support the lead teacher in maintaining a structured and inclusive learning space. Carefully follow and implement individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Promote the development of daily living skills and personal autonomy for all pupils. In order to be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, the candidate must: Have recent experience supporting young people with additional needs in a school or care capacity. Possess a nurturing, patient, and adaptable personality. Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents. Have the right to work in the UK.
