Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a well-established territory while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Grow and manage your territory: Maintain and expand sales within an established area while actively seeking new customers.
Achieve targets: Deliver agreed sales and profit goals through strategic planning and execution.
Strategic thinking: Set clear objectives to drive business growth and improve performance.
Time management: Organise your schedule to maximise productivity and meet targets.
Customer relationships: Build, develop, and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities.
Sales execution: Present, promote, negotiate and sell our full product range to existing and potential customers.
Profit maximisation: Upsell and focus on higher-margin products and brands while maintaining core business.
Account analysis: Use company reporting tools to review trading accounts and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manufacturer partnerships: Develop strong relationships with suppliers to benefit both the company and customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with depots to ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
Market insight: Provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and opportunities for new products or services.
CRM management: Keep customer records, call plans, and notes updated in the company CRM system.
Product knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services to confidently advise customers.
Role Functional Skills
Proven experience in external sales or a similar role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools is an advantage.
Good analytical and negotiation skills.
Skils & Experience
Proven track record in external sales, field sales, or business development.
Experience in B2B sales and account management is highly desirable.
Full UK driving licence (essential for travel within the territory).
Comfortable with regular travel and face-to-face customer meetings.
