Job Title: IT Procurement Manager | £45,000 to £65,000 | Bonus | Full Benefits Package | Remote & Homebased Role with Occasional Visits | Leading Professional Services Business
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing professional services company, which is establishing its first dedicated IT Procurement Manager position.
You will report to the Group Head of Procurement, contributing to the development of the procurement function aligned with business growth. Your primary responsibility will be managing all IT-related spending. Although the role is remote, the company has multiple offices across the UK, providing options for onsite work.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement category strategies, ensuring delivery and performance, including achieving annualized savings
* Create category plans and strategies to align with company objectives, leveraging supplier relationships to support local offices
* Identify and prioritize sourcing projects through a clear pipeline of category strategies
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to secure buy-in, utilizing strong market knowledge
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand supplier performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance using reporting tools and business feedback
* Demonstrate procurement excellence by embodying company values, delivering high standards, and fostering relationships
* Oversee strategic projects, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost efficiency
Requirements:
* Experience working in large, complex, multi-site organizations
* Category expertise in IT and Technology procurement
* Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+
* Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and maturity levels
* Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills for presenting ideas effectively
* Experience working within a large, cross-functional procurement team
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
