Paint Prepper needed in Stratford-upon-Avon
1. Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum
2. Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
3. Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a leading specialist in campervan conversions and vehicle refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Paint Prepper to join their skilled workshop team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing vehicles for high-quality paintwork, ensuring surfaces are primed, filled, and finished to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities as a Paint Prepper:
4. Prepare vehicle panels for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
5. Ensure all prep work meets manufacturer and industry standards
6. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
7. Collaborate with painters and other workshop staff to meet deadlines
8. Contribute to maintaining high levels of workmanship and quality
Requirements needed for the Paint Prepper role:
9. Minimum 2 years’ experience in paint preparation in an automotive or specialist bodyshop environment
10. Knowledge of sanding, filling, masking, and priming techniques
11. Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
12. Good team player with reliable work ethic
