Reporting into the Company Accountant, the Assistant Management Accountant will be a key member of the finance function and be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work well as part of the team alongside the ability to work using their own initiative. As well as demonstrating a strong knowledge of Excel, the successful candidate will have previous experience using financial software (eg Sage) and possess the ability to work well to existing processes and procedures. On a day to day basis your responsibilties will include: Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements. Sales ledger including issuing statements. Bank reconciliations for multiple companies within the Group. Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts. Variance analysis and other commentaries. Preparation of VAT returns. Producing reports using Excel. General accounts administration.
