We are looking for Plant operators for Oswestry on the United Utilities framework on a contract basis.
1. Responsibility for process monitoring of the new plant
2. Daily monitoring of the process operating parameters (MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analyses, sludge thickener performance, sludge, chemicals)
3. Daily monitoring of equipment (oxidation ditch (inducers, blowers, instruments, ferric, caustic, sludge thickeners, etc)
4. Monitoring of analysers, recalibration of instruments, ordering of reagents
5. Adjustment of process parameters to maintain performance
6. Reporting to Advance Plus process commissioning engineer
7. Consultation with client, suppliers and Advance Plus process team
8. Regular meetings with UU re progress, performance, etc
9. Daily logs
10. Ordering of chemicals as required (including ferric, caustic, poly, reagents, cuvettes for sampling analyses)
11. Taking deliveries of chemicals
12. Assisting Advance Plus team with shutdowns, access, etc
