Are you passionate about creating safe, welcoming communities? We are looking for a Resident Services Officer to join our team at Ada Court. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring building safety, supporting residents, and helping our community thrive. About the role As a Resident Services Officer, you will: Oversee building safety and ensure a secure environment for all residents Manage tenancies, including viewings, settling in new residents, and handling sign-ups Conduct fire risk assessments and report on any communal or individual repair requirements Take part in resident meetings and help resolve light anti-social behaviour issues as they arise Provide a friendly, approachable presence onsite, ensuring residents feel supported and valued This is a hands-on, on-site role based at Ada Court. Ada Court, built in 1969, offers a welcoming community environment with 146 studio flats and 65 one-bedroom flats for people aged 55 and over. The scheme also includes four specially adapted flats to support residents with disabilities. Located on a pleasant residential street in the highly sought-after area of Maida Vale, the scheme benefits from excellent surroundings and strong local amenities. About you You are a people person who can build rapport and show empathy, while also being confident and robust in your professional relationships. You’re enthusiastic, energetic, and ready to make a real difference in the community. To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience in tenancy management, including audits and signposting to additional support services A strong awareness of building health & safety issues Ability to work independently, using good initiative and judgement Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues Awareness of safeguarding issues, proactively ensuring residents are safe and protected Strong written, verbal, and IT skills A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes About Us Central & Cecil Housing Trust provides safe and affordable homes for people over 55 in London.
