My Client requires an experienced Barista & General Assistant, Monday to Friday, working in an office environment in a Law firm in London. The site can be busy therefore you must be able to work effectively with high volumes in the mornings, must know how to collaborate a grinder and have worked on traditional machines previously.
Interacting with customers is a key part of the job, and to be a success you’ll need to be helpful and courteous with a ‘can-do’ approach, have an engaging personality, enjoy working as part of a fun, high-energy team and have the commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
Job Description:
1. Responsible for ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and a happy experience throughout their whole visit.
2. The role will include taking orders, making teas and coffees, keeping the Café & Staff Dining Area clean & tidy, doing a little food prep and serving food.
3. Manage stock and inventory, to ensure good food rotation.
4. Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients.
5. Assist in other areas of the business if required and to undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
The experience and knowledge we are looking for include:
6. At least 2 year of experience in a similar environment preferably in Contract Catering
7. Excellent Barista skills and coffee retail knowledge.
8. Demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
9. A cool self-driven and goals orientated person, nothing phases you! You own your shift, and make sure that every guest leaves happy.
10. Confidently carry out safety checks and ensure that all hygiene standards are maintained well above standard
11. Strong organizational and multitasking skills and able to Improvise
12. Be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
