Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: London, Waterloo
Contract Type: Temp–to–Perm
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading data centre building services consultancy in London.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed mechanical designs using Revit or AutoCAD software
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost–effective delivery of design solution
* Produce technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
* Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and regulations
* Review and approve design calculations, documentation, and reports
* Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
* Participate in design reviews and assist in problem–solving during the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in mechanical design engineering
* Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services
* Experience working on data centre projects (essential)
