We have an opportunity for you to join our Maternity Recovery Team as a Recovery Nurse. The role involves three 12.5-hour shifts per week (Monday - Friday). No bank holidays included!

Ideal candidates will be able to:
1. Develop their clinical skills and participate in ongoing professional development
2. Be motivated, hardworking, and effective communicators, able to work well within our multidisciplinary team
3. Confidently read drug charts and administer medication appropriately
4. Perform observations accurately, identify normal parameters, and escalate when outside these parameters
5. Manage wound care, recognize deviations from normal, and escalate accordingly
6. Maintain confident and timely documentation
There are also fantastic opportunities for training in breastfeeding support, neonatal glycaemic control, contraception advice, discharge planning, and emergency response support.
