About the Role:
Ships and submarines are among the most complex manufactured assets, offering challenging and rewarding work. As an Engineering Manager in our Marine Engineering team, you'll work on projects throughout the vessel lifecycle for UK and international clients.
We seek a highly skilled technical leader from the submarine domain, preferably with experience as a submariner in the UK Royal Navy post-charge, especially in Mechanical/Marine Engineering. Candidates from non-RN backgrounds with strong submarine Nuclear Propulsion and Mechanical systems expertise, familiar with UK MoD practices, will also be considered.
Your role will involve leading engineering development, supporting in-service change, feasibility studies, and technical investigations. You will also contribute to broader projects, research, and development of future submarine concepts, and support business development and customer relations.
The team is mainly based in Bath and Bristol, with flexible working options across the UK and occasional travel to other offices and customer sites, including potential overseas assignments.
About You:
You should be a Chartered Engineer with excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to promote a lessons-learned culture. Experience across the entire platform lifecycle is desirable. We value adaptability, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards learning and growth.
