An award winning, multidisciplinary engineering practice is seeking a Structural Revit Technician to join its collaborative, design led team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with circa 2 years' experience using Revit and AutoCAD who is keen to develop their technical capability whilst working on live, high-quality projects. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you progress your Revit skills and build a long term career within structural and civil engineering.
The Role
Produce project deliverables including drawings, models and sketches under guidance
Develop designs with a strong appreciation of the project brief and scope
Prepare technical engineering documentation, including BIM and CAD drawings
Support the preparation of reports and specifications
Attend internal team meetings and contribute to project programming discussions
Coordinate information from external designers
Collaborate with technicians across disciplines
Attend site visits and assist with surveys as part of project delivery and training
About You
2 years' experience using Revit and AutoCAD
Is either qualified to HNC/HND level or working towards a BEng in Civil Engineering
Has a genuine interest in structural and civil engineering
Understands the process of developing viable engineering solutions within a design brief
Has an appreciation of materials, systems and construction techniques
Is proactive, curious and committed to personal development
Enjoys working in a collaborative, team-focused environment
A willingness to learn and grow is essential
