Job Summary
As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care and support throughout the night. You'll help with personal care, provide reassurance and companionship, and carry out regular checks to promote residents' comfort and safety.
You'll work closely with the Senior Care Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the home and maintain accurate records and handovers.
Duties
* Provide personal care and support to residents throughout the night.
* Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
* Assist with night-time routines and ensure residents are comfortable.
* Support with repositioning and mobility as required.
* Maintain accurate care records and complete handovers.
* Promote dignity, independence, and respect at all times.
* Work as part of a caring and committed team.
Skills
* Experience in a care setting preferred, but not essential - full training provided.
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine interest in caring for others.
* Ability to work calmly and effectively during night shifts.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to complete or work towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
