Overview of the role
The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role utilising various techniques to ensure that the project deliverables are completed to a high standard in line with the overall project timing.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
2. Oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
3. Assess production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
4. Produce product design and development plans
5. Ensure all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpreting clients’ necessities, pinpointing, and addressing engineering problems and implementing solutions
Essential Skills
Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within chassis or within a Project Support/Management role, in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business.
Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers.
Ability to manage one’s own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly.
Proven record of people & project management.
Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
Must have IDLR/Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
Desirable Skills
Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures.
Can lead moderate teams.
Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
