The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to become part of a well-established and high-performing project team, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsible for the successful strategic delivery of large-scale, complex, and high-impact technology projects to customers. Simultaneously lead and manage multiple projects spanning a wide range of IT technologies, including Azure migrations, Microsoft 365 modern workplace solutions, networks (SD-WAN & LAN), Infrastructure, Server and Storage migrations, Data Centre refreshes, Managed Services onboarding, and Hosted Cloud transitions. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, forecasting, risk management, issues and escalations, and seamless service transition—ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. Drive robust project governance and lead cross-functional teams comprising of technical teams, third parties, internal and external stakeholders. Manage the delivery of projects and programmes, adhering to the agreed project process and utilising the relevant project documentation. Effective management of expectations by communicating project timelines, risks and dependencies. Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and assumptions through structured planning and resolution plans. Assist in technical decision-making, working collaboratively with the technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and successful project delivery. Provide regular, insightful project updates and forecast reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to evaluate performance, highlight successes, and identify areas for continuous improvement. Act professionally concerning management, confidentiality, security, personal attitude and presentation. Work collaboratively with the Project team to help achieve Key Results and Tactical Objectives. Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety Policies and procedures. Be prepared to work in a flexible way to assist colleagues in the delivery of services to customers. Collate and own all project documentation and information relevant to customers, ensuring the project in ConnectWise is updated at all times. Personal Development - maintain and extend personal expertise in specific areas relevant to the requirements of the role. Uphold and implement Group policies and procedures in all work activities Provide feedback to the Group on all perceived risks, issues and potential improvements. The Candidate: Minimum 7 years in a project management role in an IT environment. Demonstrated success and a proven track record in delivering high-value, complex projects and programmes within the IT sector. Experience in Cloud Technologies – Azure, Microsoft 365 modern workplace implementations. Experience in Network and Security Solutions. Experience in Telecommunications. Experience in Infrastructure and Datacentre deployments. Extensive background working within Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments, with a clear understanding of customer-centric delivery models. Able to apply strong technical acumen to interpret and guide the delivery of technical requirements, aligning project teams and stakeholders toward successful outcomes. Exceptional planning and organisational skills. Highly effective in conflict resolution and problem-solving, maintaining project momentum and stakeholder confidence. A confident and proactive leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Skilled at translating complex technical language into clear, accessible information for non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable conducting technical due diligence and challenging assumptions to ensure proposed technical implementation plans adhere to best practises and customer-specific requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall), with hands-on experience using industry-standard project management tools. Passionate about mentoring, developing, and supporting colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and fostering growth. Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 (or equivalent) is required.
