To contribute effectively to the delivery and provision of the Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service. This role involves working collaboratively within a wider multi-disciplinary team, offering both clinical and administrative support across a range of service settings. The post holder will provide essential assistance under the supervision and guidance of the Children and Young People's eating disorder service team. Additionally, the role requires a strong proficiency in information and communication technology, with the ability to confidently and accurately utilise digital systems to support service operations, data management, and administrative functions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of the service and contributing to positive outcomes for children and young people accessing care.

The Trust currently supports the RealLivingWage(RLW) hourly rate as set by the LivingWage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.


Responsibilities

* Assist in the delivery of group work
* Prepare weekly follow up work ready for allocation
* Liaise with external agencies and represent at events, raising awareness of children's mental health
* Be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining information from relevant databases and prepare statistical audit information
* Organisation and coordination in its entirety of conferences, training events and workshops including releasing notifications, room and equipment booking, confirming attendees, facilitating events, evaluating and compiling reports of feedback, responding to queries, preparing presentations and preparing / staffing market stalls
* Support / accompany mental health clinicians with visits to external agencies as needed
* Make, receive and respond to a variety of enquiries on behalf of the service
* Be responsible for the collection, electronic filing and distribution of mental health resources, signposting information and workbooks
* Support service user involvement and participation groups and activities
* Attend team meetings, team development days and training events and undertake training and development required to fulfil the post
* Support CAMHS clinicians deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including delivering 1-1 sessions under the supervision of the clinical coordinator
* Attend regular supervision and appraisals

Training & Induction

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
