We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mazak Integrex 5-Axis CNC Setter Machinist to join our team. Role Summary • Setting and operating 5-axis CNC machines to prove out the process of new products and batch production. • Creating and editing programs online using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth)and/or Heidenhain controls. Complex parts are generally programmed offline, and the candidate will be required to be highly competent to engineer and prove out the parts on the machine. • Performing in-process manual measurement and signing off work instructions to comply with Quality Management and Internal Process Control. • Maintaining high standards of documents and product traceability. About You • You will have proven experience machining complex components in aluminium and ferrous materials, ideally castings. • Will have used Heidenhain and/ or Mazak 5-axis controls. We would be interested in candidates who have also programmed offline. • Due to the complexity of cast components machined you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with proving out development parts and new methods of manufacture. • Eligible to work within the UK and looking for a long-term progressive career.
