We are currently seeking a dedicated Signalling Trainer to deliver industry-leading training and assessments that keep our railways safe and our workforce skilled.As a key part of our training team, you will be the expert guiding learners through vital signalling training courses, delivered both at our modern training facilities and on client sites. With a focus on excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance, your role will ensure learners have a positive and impactful training experience aligned with Network Rail Group Standards.What You'll Be Doing:* Deliver engaging training and assessments to industry standards across classroom and worksite environments.* Maintain and update your own technical and training competencies in line with Network Rail requirements.* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless training delivery and continuous improvement.* Ensure all course materials and training aids are current, accurate, and maintained to the highest quality.* Keep training records and candidate information secure and up to date.* Support site and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and professional training environment.* Uphold and promote Health & Safety standards at all times, both by instruction and example.What We're Looking For:* A qualified and experienced railway trainer with strong knowledge of signalling systems.* Competence aligned with current Network Rail Standards.* Proven experience delivering and assessing technical training both in the classroom and in field settings.* Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.* A proactive, safety-conscious individual with a passion for sharing knowledge.Required Qualifications and Skills:* Be comfortable managing and presenting to a classroom of up to 12 'keen to learn' rail engineers and apprentices* Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal* Be able to create occasional training collateral when required* Have 3 years UK Rail industry experience, not necessarily all in training* Ideally have an NVQ level 3 (or higher) training qualification.* Ideally be within commuting distance of one of our training centres in Derby, Crewe, Clapham or West Horndon, Essex* Be willing and able to travel to client locations across the UK to deliver training and assessmentWhy Join Us?* Be part of a growing, respected training provider within the UK rail sector.* Work with a supportive, values-driven team committed to safety and excellence.* Enjoy opportunities for ongoing professional development and certification.* Make a tangible impact on the future of railway safety and operations.Ready to inspire the next generation of signalling professionals?Apply now and join a company where your expertise trains the future of rail.
