The Enrolment Lead is a pivotal role within the learner journey team, taking ownership of adult learner enquiries from initial expression of interest through to enrolment and induction. Working remotely, this position requires a self-motivated and highly organised individual who can manage their own workflow, while engaging prospective learners with warmth, professionalism, and clarity.
You’ll work directly with data exported from the MIS (PICS), contacting learners who have completed enquiry forms, conducting Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), and guiding them confidently through the full onboarding process. You’ll liaise with delivery and compliance teams to ensure every learner is supported, eligible, and ready to start their learning programme.

Key Responsibilities
Learner Engagement & IAG
Receive and manage prospective learner leads from PICS contact forms
Provide high-quality, impartial Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to adult learners
Nurture learners through the full pre-enrolment process, addressing barriers and building rapport
Schedule and lead remote enrolment meetings via phone, video call or other channels
Enrolment & Compliance
Facilitate the full enrolment process for Adult Skills courses and programmes
Collect, verify, and securely store learner documentation in line with funding rules
Conduct eligibility and residency checks aligned to ESFA or devolved authority criteria
Ensure all records are fully compliant for audit, with accurate and timely data entry
Customer Service
Act as the first point of contact for learner queries before and during onboarding
Provide responsive and clear support to learners via email, phone, and remote meetings
Deliver an outstanding experience to prospective learners that reflects organisational values
Reporting & Collaboration
Maintain accurate tracking of all open leads, enrolments, and conversions
Report weekly against enrolment targets and learner journey milestones
Liaise with curriculum, compliance and delivery teams to ensure a joined-up approach
Support improvements to learner engagement and enrolment processes based on data insights

About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a role where they can support and influence adult learners from their very first enquiry. You’ll be self-motivated, well-organised, and confident with both systems and people. You’ll care deeply about the quality of the learner experience and will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively across a remote team.
Essential:
Previous experience in learner onboarding, enrolment, or IAG within a training or education provider
Strong understanding of funded adult skills programmes (AEB, L3 Free Courses for Jobs, Skills Bootcamps etc.)
High levels of attention to detail and confidence with CRM/MIS systems (PICS desirable)
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to manage time, tasks, and competing priorities independently in a remote setting
A natural ability to engage, support and motivate adult learners
Desirable:
IAG qualification (Level 2 or above)
Experience working with PICS or other learner management systems
Awareness of ESFA funding compliance and adult education policy
