About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the MHA Central Befriending Team. The team is responsible for delivering a high-quality remote befriending service to older people nationwide.
The role is home-based with a requirement to visit our Derby Central office once per month. There can be some flexibility around working location and pattern for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for supporting older people and volunteers through the befriending journey, including responding to enquiries via phone and email. Strong communication skills are essential.

About You
We are looking for an individual who can communicate effectively with volunteers, older people, and colleagues across the organization. Organizational skills are vital to manage and prioritize a varied workload. The team uses IT systems including Sugar CRM and Xurrent, so strong IT skills are required.
As a charity caring for older people, you should be passionate about reducing loneliness and isolation and committed to making a difference for the 18,500 individuals we support across the country.
