A growing Lloyd’s managing agency is seeking an experienced Reserving Actuary to lead key aspects of their reserving and reporting function, including people management.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality actuarial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business decision-making across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead reserving assessments across multiple business classes.
* Calculate Technical Provisions under Solvency II and related regulations.
* Prepare regulatory documentation and internal reports.
* Maintain and enhance reserving models in line with Lloyd’s and PRA standards.
* Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, and other teams to analyse performance trends.
* Present analysis to management and support the production of the Actuarial Function Report.
* Mentor junior actuaries and support capital modelling efforts.
Requirements:
* Qualified actuary (or equivalent experience) with strong reserving background.
* Lloyd’s market experience preferred.
* Familiarity with ResQ, VBA, Access, and data tools beneficial.
