Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to undertake Compensation and Compulsory Purchase work, including delivery of contract work to Transport and Utility clients. This encompasses Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects and other major and minor gas, water, electricity, road, and rail projects.
The role involves organizing project surveyors and referencers to ensure successful delivery across transportation and utility sectors. Developing work from new and existing client contacts, in collaboration with team colleagues and regional BK Offices.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the utilization of time for the team’s benefit.
* Maximize efficiency and optimize the profitability of work.
* Deliver agreed budgets and targets.
* Maintain high standards of client dealings while ensuring job profitability.
* Negotiate compensation according to client instructions.
* Procure new work instructions where possible.
* Support other offices as directed.
* Provide CPO and compensation advice within BK.
Person Specification:
The candidate should have a formal qualification at degree level accredited by RICS and be a Member of RICS with 4 years PQE. Knowledge of the market sector and a senior level or aspirant to this level is preferred.
