The Role
Are you seeking a new challenge in your Financial Planning career? Our Penrith office is looking for a dedicated and committed Financial Planning Consultant to join our Financial Planning Team. The main responsibilities include:
1. Working with clients to understand their objectives and providing comprehensive, robust solutions to meet these objectives.
2. Ensuring high-quality ongoing advice is delivered to all clients.
3. Undertaking internal and external business development activities to identify new prospects and convert them into clients.
4. Building and maintaining relevant technical knowledge.
5. Achieving individual revenue targets.
6. Developing a strong network through attending events.

The Candidate
To fulfill the responsibilities of this role, candidates should have:
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
* A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum requirement).
* A Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable).
* Detailed knowledge of Business Standards - Conduct of Business (COBS).
* Knowledge of High-Level Standards - Code of Conduct (COCON).
* At least 2 years of industry experience in an advisory role.
* Good understanding of FCA Money Laundering regulations (SYSC).
* Basic knowledge of other accountancy services such as Audit, Tax, Insolvency, etc.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to prioritize workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
* General IT skills.
* Attention to detail to ensure high-quality reports.
