Hope for Justice is a charity working to bring freedom from human trafficking and modern slavery with an effective and proven multi-disciplinary model. Our wholly owned social enterprise, Slave-Free Alliance, provides services to global companies and public bodies seeking to protect their operations and supply chains against the risks of modern slavery and labour exploitation. We have active programmes in the UK, USA, Ethiopia and Uganda, reaching approximately 200,000 adults and children a year. Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance have staff and volunteers involved in operational support, fundraising or other initiatives in Australia. Hope for Justice exists to bring freedom from human trafficking and modern slavery by identifying victims, supporting survivors and preventing exploitation. Position:

Are you an experienced Executive & Business Assistant? Do you possess excellent organizational and time management skills? Are you a multitasker who prioritizes and completes tasks efficiently and effectively? Then we are looking for you!

The role requires an operational-focused approach to understanding and working within the business, contributing critical thinking and confidence. It is ideal for someone with personal drive and an ambition to develop and learn the breadth of the organization.

Provision of comprehensive support and guidance to the CEO across all aspects of their responsibilities to effectively lead Hope for Justice. Working closely with the Executive team to anticipate needs, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality and operate at pace and with precision.

Requirements:

Operational Support


* Understand and contribute to the organizational strategy ensuring the Executive team are discussing relevant items and details.
* Analyse data: collate and compile data as required for business reviews and decisions whist reviewing content for accuracy and relevance.
* Governance Support: proactive and broad understanding of the organisation to represent updates and reports along with data analysis at senior level.
* Project Management: supporting and/or leading on organisational initiatives and changes
* Internal Communications: translating organisational messages to support the culture and climate of the organisation.
* Risk Management: understanding of key organisational risks.
* Line Management: development of the role to include operational support management (possibly in matrix management)

Executive Support

* Act as first point of contact for the CEO, proactively and promptly reviewing and tracking, organising and prioritising incoming enquiries including emails, invitations, complaints and correspondence and responding directly, delegating to colleagues, advising on responses to the CEO, providing clarity of outcome/actions and ensuring these are followed to resolution professionally and reflecting the CEOs voice.
* Operate a system to ensure the CEO is fully briefed for meetings including researching and recommending decisions/solutions where appropriate.
* Provide high-level secretariat support to key internal and external meetings involving the CEO, researching, designing and producing complex documents, reports and presentations including preparing agendas, coordinating or writing papers, producing minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are progressed
* Collect and prepare correspondence and information for meetings with staff and external parties (including amongst others; Heads of State, Government officials, Journalists, Radio/TV interviews, celebrities, senior business representatives and key donors), including representing the CEO as required and working directly with stakeholders.
* Support on the CEO’s diary, optimise appointment timings, travel schedules and all arrangements for meetings including travel arrangements, visas and for the Executive team where necessary.
* Providing an initial support to cross-functional teams with direction and information in relation to the CEO and decision-making.

Other Responsibilities

* Undertake specific areas of responsibility including limited support for other executives, special projects and occasional travel as required
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested and through discussion.

Role Details

Job type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Job share will be considered if two applicants have aligning and complementary skills and experience.

Salary: Up to £45,000 based on experience
