Based in our European headquarters in Maidenhead, the EMEA consumer marketing team is responsible for the management and execution of all product and brand marketing support for our power tool and garden equipment brand RYOBI, and trade brand AEG. The department is a busy and dynamic function that supplies all European regions with the marketing materials needed to deliver the company’s ambitious financial growth targets.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications, as the maternity cover for Senior Marketing Content Manager for RYOBI & AEG EMEA, this role will be mainly focussed on the RYOBI Power Tools category. The candidate will be expected to manage the power tool marketing content plan across stills & video to support all product launches.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the Pan-European content strategy across RYOBI Power tools. Including the development of the annual asset calendar to support all launches throughout the year for both offline and online implementations.
* To work closely with the EMEA product management teams to ensure the creation of effective content and product support prior to launch.
* Organise and manage video and photography shoots, getting hands on and ensuring all assets are captured to a high standard and in line with brand guidelines.
* Work closely with our European and Asia marketing teams to ensure successful implementation of the content strategy, including translation of all assets.
* Manage one direct report – Marketing Assistant RYOBI & AEG EMEA
* To assist with the maintenance of internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
* Partial responsibility for the Pan-European marketing budget.

Other tasks:

* Involvement with ATL marketing campaigns including supporting the production of pan-European TV campaigns and promotions.
* Brief and manage creative agencies to develop and execute brand campaign artwork, ensuring all deliverables align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
* Manage and maintain Ryobi brand guidelines and monitor pan-European marketing activity at a regional level.
* Involvement with event management including Pan-European customer conferences and road-show events.

Skills Required:

* 3 Years experience in a similar role or agency background
* Extensive photo/video shoot experience
* 2:1 University Degree or above preferable.
* UK (or equivalent) Driver’s License required.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent organisational, time keeping and project management skills.
* A good team spirit and a strong self-starter.
* Enthusiasm to travel as appropriate both internationally and in the UK is essential.
* Strong computer skills, especially in: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
* Ability to speak a European language in addition to English is beneficial, but not mandatory.
