Overview
The Bournemouth Integrated Community Mental Health Team are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the teams. We are looking for an organised, motivated, consistent and enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative skills to join our existing team.
The successful candidate will need to multi-task and work flexibly to help manage the workload of a busy Community Mental Health Team, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word, Excel, Winscribe and relevant NHS systems (Rio, Dorset Care Records, CLUES, etc.).
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner as you will often be the first point of contact for this busy team and will need to work under pressure. You will have strong communication skills and good attention to detail with the ability to cope with complex tasks while ensuring databases are kept up to date.
The successful applicant will be required to provide efficient administrative and reception support and at times liaise with members of the public and a variety of professionals, both in primary and secondary care services. Given the nature of this service, some patients may contact us in distress, and we are looking for resilient applicants with a compassionate work ethos who can thrive with the right level of support being offered by the Team Leader.

Responsibilities
* Provide efficient administrative and reception support for the team.
* Assist with workload management in a busy Community Mental Health Team.
* Act as a point of contact for members of the public and professionals in primary and secondary care services.
* Maintain accurate databases and ensure information is kept up to date.
* Demonstrate a resilient, compassionate approach when dealing with distress and sensitive situations.
* Communicate effectively and maintain high standards of accuracy and organisation.
* Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
* Strong administrative experience with good attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with Winscribe and NHS systems (Rio, Dorset Care Records, CLUES, etc.).
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
* Compassionate, resilient, and able to work with patients and diverse stakeholders.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new ways of working.
