Randstad is seeking a Children & Family Social Worker for the Scottish Borders. This role focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of children while working closely with families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the needs of children and families and develop intervention plans.
* Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments.
* Work with families to promote positive change and prevent family breakdown.
* Attend court and provide reports as required.
* Engage with partner agencies to coordinate holistic support.
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with SSSC registration.
* Experience in children's services and safeguarding.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and child protection procedures.
* Excellent assessment and decision-making skills.
