We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Credit Cards team as Assistant Product Manager, looking after the relationship with Visa, our scheme partner.
This role sits within the Credit Card team, but will work with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver success from our relationship with Visa for the whole Society as we expand our card offering and deliver greater value to our members.
The role sits within the Nationwide Retail Product team, responsible for the end-to-end oversight and management of our core retail products such as Credit Cards, Personal Current Accounts, Personal Loans and Savings.

The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon, Northampton or London office. What Youll Be Doing
You will be responsible for supporting and maximising our relationship with our network scheme partner Visa; delivering the day-to-day relationship with Visa, focused on generating maximum impact and mutual benefit from the high-profile partnership.
To Do This You Will
* Support the relationship owner and be a key point of contact between internal stakeholders and Visa
* Support delivering a strong business partnership through identifying and championing mutually beneficial opportunities across Nationwide
* Support governance meetings to manage our commercial agreement with Visa, ensuring we are maximising the terms of agreement and complying with our contractual obligations
* Build key relationships across the Society finding consensus and influencing stakeholders to move ideas forward and achieve member and strategic goals
* Support with Nationwides response to industry/ regulatory changes linked to card schemes
* Work closely with our Finance teams to manage our commercial agreement with Visa
* Support the broader Credit Card team where required to deliver amongst our Commercial Growth strategy
About you
As a minimum, we are looking for someone with the following skills:
* Previous experience within Retail Banking products (such as Current Accounts, Credit Cards or Payments)
* Understanding of UK consumer credit and debit card markets
* Understands not only the customer but impacts on commercials, risk and operations and can demonstrate this
* Has experience working with data, generating insight, and providing considered recommendations
* Proven ability to prioritise effectively, make decisions and get the job done
* Ability to coordinate inputs and deal with contention across different teams to agree the best way forward
* Experience managing and coordinating meetings with a range of stakeholders
* Possess good influencing and collaboration skills, building relationships with stakeholders of all levels across the Society
* Confident communicator and able to present information to senior executives and the wider team both verbally and in writing
