Sales Manager – Agricultural Supplies -£45, – £55, per annum - South West England (Exeter - based with regional travel)
The Job:
This is a great opportunity for a driven and hands on sales professional to take on a key role within a busy depot environment.
As Sales Manager, you’ll be at the centre of commercial activity — developing new business, strengthening customer relationships and supporting day to day depot performance. This role offers a mix of field sales and on site involvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being close to both customers and operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive sales growth
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact and visits
- Plan and manage your territory effectively to maximise time and coverage
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and strong conversion rates
- Support customers on-site and over the phone with product queries and orders
- Process orders and coordinate deliveries with internal teams
- Assist in managing key accounts and resolving customer issues professionally
- Represent the business at trade shows, open days and industry events

The Candidate:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
- Background within agriculture or fencing would be highly advantageous
- Commercially aware, with confidence in negotiating and closing deals
- Strong relationship building skills with a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Good IT skills, including experience with CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to be hands-on, including occasional physical and outdoor work
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented mindset
