Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm)
Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata)

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Patient Booking Team Lead to join our team. This role is key to ensuring a seamless patient booking experience while supporting the efficient delivery of services on-site.
You will play an important role in improving patient pathways, supporting operational delivery, and contributing to projects that enhance service efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Role Summary
This is a site-based, non-clinical leadership role. You will lead the patient booking team to deliver a high standard of service, ensuring patient experience remains at the forefront of all activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the patient booking process on-site
* Lead, support, and develop team members through training and guidance
* Handle escalated booking queries, ensuring timely and professional resolution
* Produce daily booking reports and provide feedback to management
* Generate regular performance and activity reports
* Ensure clinic schedules are planned and utilised 3-4 weeks in advance
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally within the NHS
* Experience within healthcare settings
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
Desirable
* Experience using EPIC systems
* Experience in Endoscopy is desirable
Education And Experience
* GCSEs or equivalent (preferred)
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a team leadership or supervisory role (preferred)
