Position: Head of Department – Head of Facilities
Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Bonus: Up to 25% Annual Bonus

Join our One Great Team at Haven as a Head of Facilities, leading a large team responsible for site maintenance, facilities management, security, and cleaning operations. Your goal is to create an impeccably maintained, safe, and clean environment for all guests, ensuring memorable experiences.

In this role, you'll lead the Facilities team with clear direction and motivation, inspiring high standards and team growth. You'll be hands-on with performance management, resource allocation, and operational improvements, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency across all activities.


Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership: Provide strategic direction, set goals, motivate the team, and ensure effective onboarding and training for new members.
2. Guest Experience: Engage with guests, address their needs, handle escalated issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Strategic Planning: Develop plans to meet departmental and organizational goals, including budgeting and resource management.
4. Team Management: Support, evaluate, and develop team members to foster a positive and productive workplace.
5. Performance Optimization: Assess and improve departmental performance, aiming for efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote growth and guest satisfaction.
7. Compliance: Ensure safety and compliance in critical areas such as gas, water, electricity, and drainage.
8. Reporting: Regularly update senior management on departmental achievements and challenges.


Requirements

* Senior experience in facilities management, including vendor management and negotiations.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Track record of achieving departmental goals and managing costs effectively.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and handle busy periods efficiently.
