You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for the installation and maintenance of security systems across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial.• Design & prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for the supply, installation, and maintenance of fire & security systems.• Site surveying as required• Ensuring all quotes and costs are competitive and realistic.• Experience with fire & security alarm systems is a must.• Review tender documentation, drawings, and site surveys to produce clear and accurate estimates.• Manage the tender process, including the preparation of bid documents, submission of proposals, and follow-up with clients and contractors.• Stay up to date with industry developments, product innovations, and standards to ensure the best solutions are proposed to clients.• Provide technical support and advice to clients as required, ensuring that solutions offered meet their needs and expectations.• Liaise with installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers and implementation.Skillset • Highly qualified, skilled, and experienced Fire & Security Engineering background• Knowledge of Fire detection and related systems: BS 5839 - FIA/ Recognised course on Fire Design Level 1, 2 and 3• Understanding of Intruder and related alarm systems• Experience with CCTV• Knowledge of Access Control and related door entry systems and Emergency lighting systems• Profound use of CAD or similar design systems
