Established in 2016, we conductenvironmental and policy research to inform consumers, markets and decision-makers as well as generate campaignsto drive positive change for the environmental health of Scotland’s seas.**About the Role**Reporting to the Head of Communications, you’ll join a small, creative, and supportive team working to make a realimpact for Scotland’s seas. This is a maternity cover position, offering an exciting opportunity to step into adynamic role where you can quickly make a difference.You’ll help craft engaging digital content and drive public campaigns that raise awareness of seafood sustainabilityand marine protection — inspiring both people and policymakers to take action.A key part of your work will be supporting collaborative external campaigns and finding imaginative ways to grow OpenSeas’ reach and influence. These significantly contribute to aim 5 of the Trust’s strategy to be a sustainable organisation. Theteam also has a key contribution to strategic aim 2, encouraging individuals to take action to helpbumblebees.You will be a highly organised and detail-focused individual with excellent customer service skills across phone,email and written communication.
