Requirements
Must have:
- Robust experience in IT roles, including at least 2 years with Azure administration. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, storage, and identity services. - Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID (Azure AD). - Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, and Endpoint Manager. - Solid networking knowledge (TCP / IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN). - Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points. - Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation. - Familiarity with SQL Server management and Azure SQL. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimise Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, App Services, and storage solutions. - Manage and monitor Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. - Support and administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. - Implement governance, security, and compliance policies within the Microsoft 365 environment. - Collaborate with internal teams and developers on the integration of Azure App Services and containerised applications. - Lead infrastructure components of IT and digital transformation projects. - Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues. - Provide mentoring and training to junior IT staff and apprentices. - Maintain IT standards, policies, and documentation.
