We are seeking a detail‑oriented intern to support bookkeeping, financial organisation and basic accounting tasks across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or accounting student who wants real experience with bookkeeping, VAT preparation, reconciliations and financial admin. Job Description: The Bookkeeping & Accounts Intern will support the founder with day‑to‑day financial organisation, bookkeeping tasks and administrative support. You will gain hands‑on experience with real business accounts, financial processes and compliance documentation. This role is ideal for someone studying: Accounting Finance Business Economics Bookkeeping Business Administration Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Accounts Support Record expenses, receipts and transactions Assist with bank reconciliation Organise invoices and financial documents Maintain spreadsheets and financial trackers Support VAT preparation (training provided) Assist with categorising transactions in QuickBooks or Xero Financial Admin & Compliance Help prepare financial summaries Assist with Companies House and HMRC documentation Maintain organised digital financial records Support audit‑readiness and documentation checks General Support Assist with financial emails and communication Help prepare simple reports and summaries Support the founder with ad‑hoc finance tasks Requirements: Studying Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field Strong attention to detail Good numeracy and organisational skills Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles Familiar with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) Willing to learn QuickBooks or Xero Reliable, professional and proactive What You Will Gain: Real bookkeeping and accounting experience Experience with VAT preparation and reconciliations Training on QuickBooks / Xero Exposure to financial operations in a multi‑platform business A strong CV and practical portfolio Mentorship and hands‑on responsibility Hours: Flexible — 10 to 15 hours per week Remote role Compensation: Unpaid internship (experience‑based), with potential for paid progression as the business grows.
