Property Maintenance Technician – Belfast City Centre Location: Belfast City Centre Salary: £14–£15.50 per hour, depending on experience Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (including some weekends, typically one in three) Contract: Permanent Benefits: 28 days holiday per year (rising to 33 days with service), staff discounts, service awards, wellbeing and social events, flexible shift patterns. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Property Maintenance Technician to join a prestigious organisation in Belfast. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Property Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the facilities. This is a varied and hands-on role covering plumbing, painting, electrical work, joinery, general maintenance, and preventive maintenance tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled individual to join a professional team and play a key role in maintaining the excellence of a prestigious organisation Key Responsibilities: · Perform routine maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC checks · Respond promptly to repair requests and guest issues · Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns · Support preventive maintenance programs and larger projects · Maintain safety standards for staff, guests, and visitors · Record maintenance issues accurately in the property management system · Adhere to stock control procedures and maintain equipment and materials · Assist with incident response, including power or fire alarm activations · Undertake general porterage and movement of heavy items · Take utility meter readings and report as required · Wear appropriate uniform and protective clothing · Follow safe working practices, risk assessments, and company procedures The Ideal Candidate: · Experience in a similar maintenance role · Pride in delivering high-quality work consistently · Strong communication skills, both technical and interpersonal · Calm under pressure with the ability to manage competing priorities · Flexible, professional, punctual, and detail-oriented · Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to providing excellent service · Candidates must already hold a permanent right to work in the UK, as no sponsorship can be offered.
