Senior Dosimetrist, Radiotherapy Physics
Join University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust as a Senior Dosimetrist in the Treatment Planning team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide clinical technical services for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including treatment planning, dose measurement, virtual simulation, mould room, brachytherapy and machine quality control.
* Plan workload, organise projects, prioritise planning requests and supervise students and inexperienced staff.
* Operate independently within departmental policies, protocols and procedures, deciding when to refer to a manager.
* Use RayStation Treatment Planning System and other systems such as Oncentra Masterplan for brachytherapy; perform VMAT, IMRT, 3D CT and SABR treatments.
* Assist in quality control and IGRT program support across five multi‑modal linacs.
Requirements:
* Registered with the RCT or HCPC.
* Experience with RayStation, VMAT, IMRT, 3D CT, brachytherapy and quality control.
* Strong organisational and communication skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Provide immunisation and vaccination report from UK occupational health provider or GP.
