Job summary
This is a Deputy General Manager (Clinical) role at Barchester Healthcare, a leading provider of high-quality care homes across the UK. The successful candidate will support the General Manager in delivering exceptional clinical care and leadership to the care home team. This is a permanent position based in Trowbridge, offering a competitive salary of £58,000 per annum.
Main duties of the job
As the Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained in the care home. This will involve leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team, conducting regular audits and assessments, and developing strategies to continuously improve the quality of care. You will also be responsible for supporting newly qualified nurses through the preceptorship programme and managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
