About this Role
As a Customer Service Executive within our Truck and Trailer division, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality rental service through effective fleet and branch operations. This role is hands‑on, combining customer interaction, vehicle inspections, and operational coordination to ensure our fleet remains compliant, roadworthy, and ready for hire.
* Conduct detailed vehicle check‑in and check‑out inspections to accurately record condition and identify damage.
* Manage fleet readiness, ensuring all vehicles are clean, compliant, and fit for hire at all times.
* Liaise with internal departments and external repair agents to minimise downtime and maintain service levels.
* Handle customer communication professionally, including damage notifications and recharge authorisations.
* Support branch operations including rental agreements, invoicing, and general administrative duties.
About You
You will be a proactive and organised individual with a strong customer service mindset and the confidence to handle both operational and customer‑facing responsibilities.
* Full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Experience in a customer service or similar operational environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to balance firmness and diplomacy.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* An interest or background in transport, fleet, or asset rental is advantageous.
