We're looking to appointa Quantity Surveyor to work on our HS2 jv in London
You'll be :
1. Inputting to the efficient and effective management and issuance of accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence related to change control.
2. Assessing and preparing early warning notices, compensation event notices, valuations, and cost/value reconciliations for changes.
3. Assisting in risk and value management activities to optimize solutions and regularly reviewing and analysing commercial risks with the project team, through measures such as risk reduction meetings
4. Managing contracts, including utilising relevant contractual forms, methods of budgetary control, and applicable software applications.
5. Liaising with the site team, client and stakeholders’ representatives on change control matters.
We're looking for :
6. Demonstrable commercial acumen with NEC3 experience
7. Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
8. Proficiency in technical minute-taking at contractual meetings and ability to collate information and prepare reports.
9. Experience in drafting contractual correspondence on behalf of the Project Manager
10. Strong negotiation, team-working, and leadership skills.
11. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of legal, contractual, and construction aspects.
12. Holds an RICS/CICES accredited degree or enrolled in an accredited part-time post-graduate degree with at least three years of relevant experience.
